Mable Edwards was my husbands great aunt. She died in Cambridge on 31st March 1970 in Cambridge. She was the widow of Ernest Rahbula, who she married in 1923 in Hendon, Middlesex. She also painted under the name Mable Rahbula

My Grandfather LC Dear What is a cab driver and the story is that one day he picked her up in his cab to take her home and she absolutely loved him. From then on she would only have him drive her around. She tried to hire him as her personal driver at my grandfather was a very active man and knew he was bored to tears and he declined. My grandparents would go with her on vacation my grandfather would drive her around and my grandmother would help take care of her vacation. When she passed away she left her home and money and poking my grandfather. We still have in the family many of her paintings my brother has a full-size portrait of my grandfather as well as a full-size painting of flowers in a vase . I have a miniature of my grandfather with his parrot painted an ivory

I have many of her paintings in my family as my grandfather inherited her estate, which is an odd story! Lol
